No. 8 UCCS Picked Third in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - No. 8 University of Colorado Colorado Springs was picked to finish third in the RMAC after the release of the 2013 preseason coaches' poll released this afternoon. The Mountain Lions finished third at last year's championships.

UCCS is ranked third in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region and eighth in the USTFCCCA Division II National Poll. The Mountain Lions bring back six of their seven runners from the national championships last season, who led UCCS to a No. 10 finish in 2012.

The Mountain Lions open the season with the Rust Buster on Sept. 7 at Monument Valley Park. The RMAC Championships will be hosted by Western New Mexico at the Silver City Golf Course on Oct. 26.
