Misch Places in Top 50 in Masters Race at US Club Nationals
BEND, Ore. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs Head Men's Cross Country Coach and Co-Head Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach Mark Misch was a member of the Boulder Running Company team that finished fifth in the 40 and older division at the National Club Cross Country Championships yesterday in Bend, Ore. Misch finished No. 50 overall and No. 40 in his division.
Misch finished the 10-kilometer course in 37 minutes and 30 seconds and finished fourth on BRC team. He competed on the same team with Art Siemers, the current Head Cross Country Coach at Colorado State and former Head Coach at Colorado Mines. The BRC squad finished six points behind Fun N Run out of Minnesota in the field of 23 teams from across the nation.
Misch placed No. 50 in the master's race, and would have placed No. 332 in the open division. He finished one spot ahead of Fun N Run's fourth-place runner.
