Men Ranked Seventh in Regional Polls

NEW ORLEANS - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's cross country teal ranked seventh this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Regional polls released this morning. 

The men's team finished third overall at the Colorado College Invitational. Bryce Gregoire finished seventh overall in 26 minutes, 54 seconds. Luke Dakin finished No. 18 followed by Mitch Klomp, Matt Winfrey, and Nick Baca. 

UCCS men's team dropped two spots as Metro State moved to fifth in the rankings. Six of the top ten teams belong to the RMAC. The top six teams in the regional championships will advance to the national championships in November in Spokane, Wash. 

The Mountain Lions will be competing October 5, in the Metro State Invitational in Denver, Colo., at 9 a.m.
