Men's Cross Country Receiving National Poll Votes

NEW ORLEANS- The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's cross country team received 3 votes this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national polls released early Wednesday morning.  Southwest Baptist and Nebraska-Kearney jumped ahead of UCCS with 4 votes each.   

UCCS remained ranked at seventh this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Regional polls released Tuesday.  The Mountain Lions last competed in the Metro State Invitational at Washington Park in Denver.  The men's team finished second behind Metro State on the eight-kilometer course.    

The Mountain Lions will be taking the next couple weeks off to train for the RMAC Championships Oct. 26, in Silver City, N.M.
