Men's Cross Country Competes at Metro State Invitational Saturday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- The seventh ranked team in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Regional polls released Tuesday, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's cross country team, will be competing Saturday at the Metro State Invitational.

The Metro State Invitational will be held at Washington Park in Denver, Colo.  The Mountain Lions will be racing against the host of the invitational, Metropolitan State University of Denver.  The eight-kilometer course will begin at 10 a.m. Competitive teams such as Adams State University, Air Force Academy, and Colorado Mesa University competed at the meet in the 2012 season. 

The Metro State Invitational is the final meet before the Mountain Lions will be competing in the RMAC Championships in Silver City, New Mexico, Oct. 26.
