No. 12 Mountain Lions Voted Fourth in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The No. 12 University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's cross country team were picked to finish fourth in the 2013 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released this afternoon. UCCS placed fourth in last year's championships in the best team finish since 2005.

The Mountain Lions are ranked fourth in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region and No. 12 in the USTFCCCA Division II National Poll. Luke Dakin and Matt Winfrey both helped UCCS finished No. 11 at last season's national championships and fourth at the regional championships.

UCCS will open the season with the Rust Buster on Sept. 7 at Monument Valley Park. The RMAC Championships will be hosted by Western New Mexico at the Silver City Golf Course on Oct. 26.
