Women's First Workout Takes Them to Palmer Park
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Head Women's Cross Country Coach David Harmer and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs team used a morning hill workout at Palmer Park to open the 2012 fall practice season this morning.
The Mountain Lions will be a relatively young squad with 13 freshmen or sophomores on the roster, and three juniors or seniors. Eight of the runners are new to the team this year.
The team will continue to practice this week before the start of classes next Monday. UCCS will open the 2012 season at home with the Rust-Buster at Monument Valley Park on Sept. 8.
