UCCS Tracksters Compete Nation-Wide Over Spring Break.
It was a busy spring break week for many of the UCCS track team as several individuals were competing in various meets around the country.
Starting in Florida at the University of North Florida Invitational Matt Cameron placed 9th in the 1500 meters in 3:57.96 and Anthony Davis placed 7th in the 800 meters in 1:54.62.
In St. Louis, several of the long distance runners competed at the Washington University Distance Carnival on Friday evening under the lights. Nine of the UCCS runners recorded personal bests including Sam Feldotto who moved to number five on the UCCS all-time list in the 5000 meters when he clocked a 15:06.12 against a good field.
Alex Colvin continued her solid outdoor season with another win in the pole vault with a jump of 3.50 meters at the Bronco Relays in Hastings, Nebraska. Colvin currently leads the conference with a season best jump of 3.60 meters which also ranks her 11th in the country on the NCAA II performance list.
Next up for the Mountain Lions will be the University of New Mexico Tailwind Invitational this Saturday.

Misch ran the eight-kilometer course in 27 minutes and 56.6 seconds for Team Colorado.|
