Trujillo rank the six-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 51.30 seconds and was the top collegiate runner by more than nine seconds.

In the team scores UCCS finished 6th on both the men’s and women’s sides equaling the 6th place finishes by both programs at last year’s championships.
