Former UCCS runner finishes second at the Teva Mountain Trail Running 10K Spring Runoff

Former University of Colorado at Colorado Springs athlete Sarah Shepard finished second at the Teva Mountain Trail Running 10K Spring Runoff on Sunday.

Shepard finished the course with a time of 48 minutes, 29 seconds to put her among the top female finishers. She was the top finisher among female runners in the 20 to 29 age group.

The Teva Mountain Trail Running comprised of 299 runners and took place at Vail Village that is 9,000 feet in elevation.
