Cross Country: Women Take 12th at Regionals

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs women's cross country team finished 12th at the NCAA Division II North Central Regional meet on Saturday at the Don Baker Cross Country Course in Vermillion, South Dakota.

The top Mountain Lion runner was Jenna Dorsey-Spitz who finished 24th in the 6-kilometer run with a time of 22 minutes, 26 seconds. Other UCCS runners were Vivian Reed, Christy Severy, Kaitlin Frier, and Tavia Hammond.

Adams State finished first ahead of Augustana, Western State, South Dakota, and North Dakota all finished in the top five.
