Cross Country: Men Take 11th at Regionals

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's cross country team finished 11th at the NCAA Division II North Central Regional meet on Saturday at the Don Baker Cross Country Course in Vermillion, South Dakota.

The top finisher on the team was senior Dan Pinter who finished 50th in the 10-kilometer run in 32 minutes, 59 seconds. Gabe Small finished 58th in 33 minutes, 11 seconds. Other Mountain Lion runners were Branson Bartlett, Alex Tiernan, and Dustin Simeons.

Western State took first with Adams State right behind in second. Two other Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schools were among the top five finishers, Colorado Mines finished fourth and New Mexico Highlands finished in fifth.
