The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs women's cross country team remained at the No. 6 spot on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association national Division II poll, which was released Tuesday.
It could be a long stay for the Mountain Lions, who will not compete again until the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship in Pueblo on Oct. 21.
The UCCS men's cross country team climbed to fifth in the North central regional poll.
Both UCCS teams finished third in the non-Division I portion of the Rocky Mountain Shootout in Boulder on Saturday.
