UCCS Men Finish Fifth at Wyoming Meet
Aaron Rubalcaba-Lopez took 13th in an 81-runner field to lead the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to a fifth-place finish at the Wyoming Invitational Meet on Friday.
Rubalcaba-Lopez covered the course at the Jacoby Golf Course in 22 minutes, 56 seconds, crossing the finish line just ahead of Northern Coloradoâ€TMs Charles Hillig, Colorado Stateâ€TMs Casey Wahlers and Air Forceâ€TMs Justin Mason.
Next across the line for UCCS was Dan Pinter, who took 24th with a time of 23:19. Rounding out UCCSâ€TM scoring runners were Aric Holmes (31st), David Harmer (36th) and Shea Wilfong (38th).
Also running for UCCS were Dustin Simoens, Alex Tiernan, Gabe Small, Carlos Ruibal and Brian Zakavec.
The UCCS Menâ€TMs Cross Country team will be competing next in the Lobo Invitational on September 9th, in Albuquerque, NM.
