Brathall named runner of the week
University of Colorado at Colorado Springs runner Levi Brathall was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's cross country runner of the week on Thursday.
The junior from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs defeated a field of 59 other runners, 48 of which represent Division I schools, to claim the individual title at the Wyoming Open on Friday. He completed the 4.1-mile course in Laramie, Wyo. in a time of 21:48 and helped lead the Mountain Lions to second place in the meet, which featured four Division I schools.
A 2003 All-American in outdoor track (10K), Brathall finished 16th at last year's RMAC Cross Country Championships.
