Before CU-Colorado Springs: Dabbled in a little bit of everything while at Air Academy High School ... Finished her high school career with six varsity letters in four different sports ... She was a thrower for the track team, and finished in the top ten of nearly every meet in which she competed ... Played first base for the Kadet softball team and received second-team All-Area honors and ranked in the top ten in batting average in the state with a .463 average ... Had never played soccer before her senior season, then went on to post 10 shutouts and had a state-best 0.16 GAA as the Kadets' goalie ... She also was named the second-team all-state in soccer ... She, of course, played basketball as well and led her team in rebounding and assists, and ranked second in scoring and steals ... Was named most improved player for basketball in 2001-02.
