Blackout Night Returns to Gallogly Events Center on Friday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The annual Blackout Night returns to the Gallogly Events Center on Friday night, when the University of Colorado Colorado Springs takes on Black Hills State in a basketball doubleheader. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m., and the men tip off at 7:30 p.m.
Student pregame activities begin at 4:15 p.m., in Berger Hall, with dinner and tailgate activities. A pregame rally starts at 4:45 p.m., with the UCCS cheerleaders and members of the Mountain Lion coaching staffs, before the students move into the Gallogly Events Center for the start of the women's game.
UCCS students will need to have their ID cards ready to display to pick up their official Blackout Night t-shirt and water bottles. Doors to the Gallogly Events Center for all fans will be open at 5 p.m.
Prizes from Jimmy John's and the Office of Student Activities will be featured during each of the games, and during the 10-minute timeouts in each half.
