COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the third straight week, Derrick White of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team is the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Athletic of the Week for Jan. 13-19. He averaged 23 points in two games last weekend.
White came within two assists of a triple-double against Colorado Christian with 28 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. It was the second double-double of his career, and was helped by a 14-15 performance at the free throw line.
