GUNNISON, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team continued its offensive consistency with 56 percent from the field en route to a 91-66 win against Western State tonight in Paul Wright Gym. Derrick White led both teams with 22 points and was one of four Mountain Lions to finish in double figures. Darius Pardner led the bench with 14 points, while Dalton Patten scored 12 and Alex Welsh added 11 points.
UCCS used a seven-point ally over a three-minute span late in the first half to tie the game at 22-22. The Mountaineers went back up by four points with 2:36 left in the period, but the Mountain Lions scored seven of the final 11 points in the half to take a 33-32 lead into the break.
