COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Culver was one of three featured guests in this week's edition of the RMAC Radio Show. Culver spoke with RMAC Associate Commissioner Eric Danner about the start of the conference season this weekend.

Culver talked about the 3-1 start to the UCCS season, the transition from Johnson & Wales to UCCS, and the interaction that Culver had with RMAC teams in his seven seasons at Johnson & Wales. Danner and Culver also talked about common history with UCCS Assistant Coach Jeff Sweet. Sweet coached Danner at Gateway High School in the early 1990s, and joined Culver's staff at Johnson & Wales and stayed with Culver last season at UCCS.

The Mountain Lions will open the RMAC season on Friday in a 7:30 p.m., game at Fort Lewis. The Skyhawks went 3-1 in the nonconference season, but have dropped their last two games against Tiffin and Northern New Mexico.
