Wolfinger Named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Lauren Wolfinger was named the RMAC offensive player of the week after leading the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team to consecutive conference victories this weekend.

Wolfinger was the leading scorer for UCCS in both of their 21 point wins this weekend against Western New Mexico and New Mexico Highlands, which helped the Mountain Lions, improve to 15-4 for the first time in program history.

She had a game-high 13 points against Western New Mexico, shot 5-of-11 from the field and recorded a team-high six assists with six rebounds.

The next night in another 21 point win, Wolfinger had a team-high 16 points, made 7-of-12 from the field and converted 2-of-4 from three-point range. In the process, Wolfinger recorded her 117th career three-point shot made, which moves her into a tie for seventh place all-time in program history.
