COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team will look for a sixth straight win against Colorado Christian tonight when the Mountain Lions (2-12 / 2-8 RMAC) take on Colorado Christian (6-12 / 1-9 RMAC) at 7 p.m. in the Cougar Event Center in Lakewood, Colo.

Tonight's games across the conference will mark the halfway point of the season. A win tonight would put the Mountain Lions within a game of qualifying for the postseason tournament in March with 11 games left in the schedule.

He is seventh in the conference with 24 steals this season and has finished with multiple steals in three of the last four games.

Derrick White led UCCS in scoring for the seventh straight game and tallied his fifth game of the season with 20 or more points against the Orediggers. He's leading RMAC freshmen with 17 points per game and is first in the conference with 4.5 made free throws a game.

The Cougars come into tonight with a six-game losing streak after starting the season 5-2. Michael Brown averages 11 points per game for Colorado Christian while Joey Trinkle leads a balanced rebounding effort with 4.6 per game.
