UCCS Hosts First High School Holiday Shootout Next Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs will host eight teams from four Colorado high schools for the first Mountain Lion High School Holiday Shootout next Monday through Wednesday at the Gallogly Events Center.
 
Calhan, Peyton, Sargent and Crested Butte will bring their boys and girls varsity teams to the UCCS campus for three games for each team. Four games on Monday and Wednesday will begin at 2 p.m., while the four games on Tuesday will begin at 10 a.m., ahead of the UCCS women's basketball game against Menlo at 7 p.m. that night.
 
Tournament passes for all games will be $25 for adults, $15 for senior citizens (65 years and older) and children (ages 6-11), $10 for students with ID. Single-day passes are $10 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and children, and $4 for students with ID. Children younger than six years old will be admitted free. Parking will be free for teams and fans, and the closest parking spots will be available in Lots 3 and 4.
