Mountain Lion's drop game to UNK despite effort from Darby, Pardner
KEARNEY, NE - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team played the second leg of their Nebraska road trip on Saturday night against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Lopers at the Health and Sports Center.
UCCS lost to UNK 87-78 Saturday night despite the scoring efforts of Jake Darby and Darius Pardner. Darby went 11-17 from the field and scored 26 points. Pardner, in his first trip to Kearney, put in 20 of his own. However, their efforts were not enough dropping the Mountain Lions to 7-19 overall and 6-14 RMAC.
The Mountain Lions will finish their regular season at UCCS in the Gallogly Events Center with games against Colorado Christian University on Friday night (February 24th) followed by Senior Night on Saturday (February 25th) when they will take on Colorado School of Mines.
