Feilmeier named to all-tournament team
UCCS guard Ben Feilmeier was named to the men's All-Tournament Team for the Northwest Nazarene Thanksgiving Classic over the holiday weekend.
Others named include: Jamie Eisinger, a sophomore from Northwest Nazarene who had 15 assists and only five turnovers in 57 minutes of playing time, Zac Robbins from Dixie State had 25 points and 20 rebounds in the tournament and was the only freshman named to the all-tournament team, Chris Sprinker from Central Washington recorded 25 points and 13 rebounds on the weekend, and the tournament MVP was Brian Barkdoll, also from NNU, who had 35 pts and 13 rebounds in the two games in the tournament.
Feilmeier ended the weekend with 30 pts, six assists, and four steals. He is a 6-foot junior from right here in Colorado Springs who attended Liberty High School. Last season Feilmeier was second on the team in assists with 3.32 assists per game, fourth in points with 9.5 points per game, averaged 3.1 rebounds per game, and had a career high 24 points against Regis University on February 27.
