Basketball fans invited to accompany team to Orlando

Parents and fans of the UCCS women's basketball team wanting information about attending the Disney DII Tip Off tournament on Nov. 2-4 can find it by clicking on this link.

Information on that Web site will be updated regularly, so it's advisable to check back periodically. Fans can also contact the event coordinator, April Haynes, at 214-363-0073.

The Mountain Lions will play Winona State on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The next evening at 5 p.m., UCCS will play Limestone aand on Nov. 4, the Mountain Lions will face Bellarmine at 5 p.m. All games will be played at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex located on the grounds of Walt Disney World.

"It would be great to have some UCCS fans not only at the games, but also enjoying the wonderful Orlando area with us," said UCCS coach Jessika Stratton. "Maybe they could even get their picture taken with me and Mickey Mouse."
