Tripp named all-East

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs center Tonya Tripp was named first-team all-East by Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference coaches, the conference announced Tuesday.

Teammate Emily Jenkins was named all-east honorable mention.

Tripp averaged 12.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Mountain Lions this season. She also shot a team-high 47.6 percent from the field.

Jenkins led UCCS with 8.4 rebounds per game to go along with her 10.7 points.

The Mountain Lions went 10-17 this season, including 8-10 in RMAC play.
