UCCS men picked fourth in preseason poll
After qualifying for their second playoff berth in school history in the 2006-07 season, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's basketball team was chosen to finish fourth in the East Division in the annual Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Metro State was picked to finish first, while Nebraska-Kearney was picked second and Colorado Christian was picked to finish the season in third in the East Division.
In the West Division Fort Lewis was chosen to finish first, followed by Mesa State, CSU-Pueblo, and Western New Mexico.
There were no Mountain Lions picked for the preseason all-East Division team. However, senior guard Nic Fuller was an all-East honorable mention selection for the 2006-07 season. Fuller averaged 14.1 points, along with 3.8 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game in the 2006-07 season.
UCCS will host a "œMoonlight Madness" celebration following the volleyball team's match against Colorado Christian on Oct. 19.
