Russ Caton is at it again.
Having already signed five players, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's basketball coach made it a six pack by adding Jared Giammona, a 6-foot-1 guard from Santa Rosa, Calif.
Giammona was a two-time first-team All-Bay Valley Conference honoree while playing at Mendocino College. Over the past two seasons, he has made 126 3-pointers while connecting at an impressive 39.6 percent. He also made 81 percent of his free throws as a senior.
"Jared is going to fit well into our style of play," said Caton. "He is an extremely intelligent basketball player and a natural scorer."
