Hannaway named academic all-District VII
Patrick Hannaway of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII in the College Division, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday.
By virtue of his first-team all-district status, the senior from Doherty High School will now be included on the national ballot for Academic All-American consideration.
NCAA Division II and III plus NAIA schools are included in CoSIDAâ€TMs College Division. Division I schools are in the University Division. There are eight districts in each division.
Hannaway leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in scoring (23.1 per game) and field goal percentage (66.5 percent). He also maintains a 3.92 GPA in Biology.
