Hannaway gets third player of the week award

With the holidays affecting playing schedules, the award covered the two-week period from Dec. 18-31.
Hannaway scored nine points in overtime to help the Mountain Lions top CSU-Pueblo in a non-conference home win, 107-100. With UCCS leading by three points and 33 seconds remaining, he grabbed a key offensive rebound off a missed free throw that helped increase the lead to five and make it a two-possession game.
In the game, Hannaway scored 35 points add grabbed eight rebounds. He made 12-of-14 field goals (85.7 percent) and 10-of-16 free throws (62.5 percent).
It's the third time this season that Hannaway has been named player of the week, the most such awards ever in a single season by a UCCS men's basketball player.
The senior from Colorado Springs leads the RMAC in both shooting (73.1 percent from the field) and scoring (26.3 points per game).
