UCCS basketball to be on internet
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will introduce "Teamline" live audio streaming for its home basketball games beginning with the men's basketball team's game against Colorado College on Dec. 12 and continuing with the men's and women's games on Dec. 16.
KKML's Tony D, best known for his "Tony D and the Dawg Pound" show on 1300 AM, will be calling the play-by-play action.
After the first two games, the Athletic Department will begin a fundraising campaign to make all home games and, hopefully, a few select road games, available on the Internet.
Audio streaming is radio on your computer. With "Teamline," fans will be able to follow the action as it happens from the comfort of their home.
To access the "Teamline" broadcast, click in the "Listen Live" button on the Athletic Department Web site (www.uccs.edu/athletic). The broadcast will begin approximately five minutes prior to the start of the game. Note that the link will not be available until the broadcast is about to begin, so if it's not there just refresh your browser every minute or so until it appears.
