Sauter named third-team All-District
University of Colorado at Colorado Springs forward Jennine Sauter was named third-team academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the University learned Thursday.
Sauter was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week twice this season. She leads the RMAC in Rebounding (8.6/game) and defensive rebounds (6.45/game), sheâ€TMs second in scoring with 19.8 per game, fourth in blocked shots, eighth in steals, and among the top 20 in 3-point field goals made and in offensive rebounds.
The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) selects Academic All-America teams in 12 programs: football, womens volleyball, men's soccer, women's soccer, mens basketball, womens basketball, baseball, softball, mens track & field/cross country, womens track & field/cross country, mens at-large and womens at-large. A first team, second team and third team are selected in both the University (Division I and I-AA) and College (Division II, III and NAIA) Divisions. Football consists of just first and second teams.
