Men's basketball announces tryouts
University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's basketball coach Russ Caton announced Monday that he would be holding tryouts on April 14 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Lions' Den.
While the tryouts are by invitation only, players with legitimate basketball credentials can obtain an invitation by contacting Caton at 262-3680 or by sending him an email using the link on the men's basketball page of the UCCS Athletics Web site (www.uccs.edu/athletic).
The tryouts are limited to graduating high school seniors and high school graduates with college eligibility remaining. Attendees will be required to sign an injury waiver prior to participating.
Prospective participants must fill out the tryout form found by clicking the sports medicine link on the UCCS Athletics Web site (direct link is: http://web.uccs.edu/sports_medicine/Prospective%20Student-athlete.htm).
