McGuire named player of the week

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs center Bly McGuire was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference West Division player of the week, the conference announced Monday.
McGuire scored 38 points with 17 rebounds as the Mountain Lions won back-to-back games for the first time in just under two years.
In a 69-63 win at New Mexico Highlands on Tuesday, McGuire scored 21 points with 10 rebounds and three assists, all career highs. He followed that performance with 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists as the Mountain Lions defeated Colorado State-Pueblo 70-60 on Saturday.
McGuire is the second UCCS player to earn RMAC/Baden Player of the Week Award this season (Patrick Hannaway December 13.)
