November 14, 2005New uniforms bring UCCS full circle in name gameThe University of Colorado at Colorado Springs women’s basketball team unveiled its new look Monday as the Mountain Lions received their new uniforms.The most important change will be the “UCCS” moniker on the front. The team has simply had “Colorado” stitched on the front for several seasons. Previous incarnations have had “Colorado” in large block letters and “Colorado Springs” in smaller script lettering.
