Men's basketball loses eighth straight game
Brandon Norris led six Adams State Grizzlies in double figures in a 95-68 victory over the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Saturday night at Alamosa, Colo.
Jack Bain led the Mountain Lions (3-19, 2-13 RMAC) with 18 points and eight rebounds. Jimmie Pack added 14 points, Casey Gutting had 12 and Stephon Hicks had eight.
The Grizzlies were dominant in winning their fifth straight home game. Doug Carlson (15), Brandon Bronchinsky (14), David Mitchell (14), David Hull (10) and Brenno Blassioli (10) all joined Norris in double figures as Adams State sliced the CU-Colorado Springs defense for 21 layups.
The Grizzlies also had more offensive rebounds (30) that the Mountain Lions had total rebounds (28). In all, Adams State (16-10, 9-6) grabbed 58 boards, seven more that the Grizzlies have had in any game this season.
It was the eighth straight loss for the Mountain Lions.
